This weeks topic on who is a medium
I am so glad you asked!!!! I wish that I could tell you that I am special, that I am part of the few that are gifted…..(well, that is kind of a joke as I do not want to be anymore special than anyone else)…..but, I cannot say I am special because we are ALL BORN with the ability to communicate with spirit. Yes, you read that correctly; everyone is born with the ability to communicate with spirit!!!! Let me say it one more time for those that are in disbelief…..everyone is born with the gift of communicating with the spirit world!
You are probably asking then why can’t I communicate with my loved ones? You probably already are and just don’t realize it. I know that is how it worked for me. I would get communications that I thought were just daydreams until reality came knocking on the door which we will go into in the next blog or two.
How many people hear about children with imaginary friends? They do not have imaginary friends!!! They are playing with their spirit guides! Children are born wide open and innocent. Then, the human experience begins and it starts to take over the spiritual being.
Many children even exhibit their gifts and have been told not to do that or have been told that their friends do not exist. When our grown ups shame us or make us feel as though we are doing something that is not good, it helps us to shut down the spiritual gifts that we have all the faster.
This is why it is important that we nurture children and help them to expand and grow spiritually. In the past much of the discouraging from adults was due to the religious beliefs of organized religion. While some may disagree with me, I am a firm believer that since the religions we are raised with taught us to believe in life after the event we have come to know as death, it would only make sense that we would be able to communicate with our loved ones, right? I mean, what is the benefit in life after death if we were to be ripped away from our loved ones with no way to communicate? I choose to believe that God, Source, or whatever name you choose to use is much kinder and more compassionate than that and would want us to be able to continue our relationships with our loved ones.
Many of us have had struggles to get to a place of even just having this conversation which is unfortunate, but very common. I encourage all of you to explore the gifts of your birthright and to expand spiritually as you are comfortable and see fit. Somewhere in the next few blogs, we will discuss all the things you should be aware of before your begin your journey, should you choose to do so.
In closing, I am excited to see everyone’s perspectives! As forever students, we are always growing, learning and evolving which makes information exchanges very valuable to all of us. So, please feel free to express your thoughts and ideas, but please remember this is a spiritual safe zone. Let’s be kind, respectful and judgement free so that everyone can feel comfortable sharing. In keeping this space safe when commenting, please make your comment without referencing another’s comment.
Lastly, if you see something that does not resonate with you, (and we all will) just remember the spiritual thing to do is just keep scrolling until you find the comments that do resonate with you.
Until next week, may you experience a level of joy and happiness as amazing as you!!!!!!
